Yesterday after about a week of fighting a sinus infection I felt good and we decided to visit Picacho Peak State Park a few miles from the campground. Many people climb the peak but it requires gloves using fixed cables to summit. Well, we did not do that but did take about a 1.5 mile round trip trail to an overlook. It was a moderate trail with about a 400 ft elevation gain, we made our way slowly to the overlook and enjoyed the landscape of the Arizona Desert.
We have begun a new chapter in our lives. As of October 1 2016 we are full time campers.

We have been enjoying our stay and the temperatures are now in
the mid to high 40s at night and 80 during the day. We are still walking everyday and just
hanging out with our friends.
Every Tuesday we go to the Thirsty Donkey for Taco Tuesday.

This Saturday the campground has a yard sale and we have a
few items to put out that we no longer need as we continue to rearrange and
sort.
A couple of weeks ago we installed a stack washer &
dryer and love it, no more laundromats!
We also had slide toppers installed to protect the top of
the slide-outs and they also help reduce the heat in the camper.
We have been here for three months and are looking forward
to start moving again on April 1 but until then we have a few more places to
visit in the area.
On January 31 we got up at 4:30 to watch the Supper Blue Blood
Moon Lunar Eclipse. We had mostly clear skies and it was interesting to watch.
I was outside at a cold 41 degrees and Karen was able to view it from our dining
table in a warm camper. At one point I turned to the East to see the stars and
we saw one flashing then turned bright orange and as we watched it, it turned
out to be a hot air balloon, cool! Here are a few shots as the eclipse took
place.
