Day27
Whitehorse, YT was our visit today and we were somewhat disappointed.
The town as you would expect changed in 30 years and it has lost its charm. We went
to the visitor center which had some nice stained glass windows and art pieces
representing the native First Nations then walked downtown and along the Yukon
River pathway. Then we drove to the Miles Canyon and walked the trail for a
while.

| Have no idea what this building is but liked it |
 |
| These sculptures were near the entrance to the town |
 |
| Built by a local artist, very interesting! |

Hi Dave...
ReplyDeleteSure miss you, glad you're having a good time, though.
Had coffee with Tom the tile man last week, looks a lot like you but
it's not the same.
Saved the pic. of "Diamond Tooth Gerties" for Carol, she'll like that.
Looks like a Great Adventure, sure you'll have lots to share over out
next cup of coffee.
Stay safe, be healthy, God Bless you and your trip.......
Paul
Thanks Paul, we are enjoying the journey.
DeleteTell Carol Hi from Karen and I.
See you for coffee in September
