Sunday morning October 1, we left Las Cruses NM for Tucson
and just as it started to sprinkle, a wonderful rainbow appeared and we could
see both ends for almost a half an hour. Each time I see a rainbow I reflect on
God’s covenant with Noah and how it applies to our lives today. We had a very
nice sunny drive to our campground in Camp Verde, AZ. After dinner the sun was
low and the temps dropped into the 80’s so we went for a walk around the park.
We have been here six days now and it is a beautiful park
and our campsite faces a stand of trees near a river. The back of the campsite
faces North East so we have shade most of the day. Not much sightseeing as of
today mostly grocery shopping and rearranging the camper. Some of what we had
in the old camper we don’t need so a trip to Goodwill is in order. I had to
replace the kitchen faucet that broke, thankfully Warranty will pay for it and
we actually like the new one better. We made a trip to Sherwin Williams to get
some matching stain and built a custom shelf in the bedroom for my heart
monitor. Several other tweaks being done to make things more functional and convenient.
