We went to the
Garden of The Gods yesterday afternoon and tried a trail but it was too hot.
This morning we went back to see it in different light and hike when it was
cooler, good choice!
A very narrow entrance
Kissing Camels
This was a very different experience, very nice with mostly paved walkways and lots of people both days. We would do it again for sure and it is free.
Black-Billed Magpie
The trading post had the usual tourist things and a very nice section of local art which was an interesting tour in its self. We had lunch on the terrace and purchased a vase made from Colorado Aspen by a Native American.
This was our last
official day of vacation touring; now we make the 1,300 mile trip home.
