Today we got up to
clear skies and rode the Cog RR to the top of Pikes Peak. It was an hour and a
half ride one way. It is a slow and relaxing ride with beautiful views. At the
top we had their famous donuts, still warm then took in the views. Karen and I
did OK at 14,110 feet but had to walk very slow and drink lots of water to
offset the effects of the high altitude.
