Sunday 7-21

We started the day with clear cool skies and a very good breakfast at the Cook Shack in the campgrounds. You got Scrambled eggs, bacon, hash brown potatoes, toast or biscuit with gravy, coffee or hot chocolate and orange juice for $6.00. It was very good and as we were eating outside, there were a lot of humming birds at each of two feeders. We never saw so many at the same time. We then packed up and headed for Mesa Verde. Very good travel day with no interstate, good roads and some rain late afternoon. We stopped for a break in Pagosa Springs, CO at Farrago Market Café and split an order of beer batter salmon and fries. Never had salmon that way and it was very good.
