WOW was the drive today to Capital Reef National Park. Our Campground had good scenery and was only 10 miles from the visitor center. Before we got to the park the views were WOW and all day it was that way. The beauty of this park is extremely different than others we have visited and the scenic drive placed you up close to the landscape. In addition to the narrow scenic drive in the park, route 24 is an awesome drive with continued changes in the views. We stopped along a river for lunch and enjoyed the view and sound of the running water. At one-point Karen said “this is better than the Grand Canyon”.
