September 21 – 23 we were in Waco TX and visited the Magnolia Silos. This has been on our bucket list for a while and glad we made it.
The complex takes up about two square blocks with the two large silos, the Silos Baking Co. with cupcakes to die for, a large space for a series of food trucks, a place to sit in bean chairs on the lawn and they hold outside events there. Then there is Joanna’s store from which Karen bought one of Joanna’s designed rugs for our camper.

Karen in line to purchase her new rug!

The line into the bakery was long but worth the wait

These cupcakes were SOOOO Good!!

We then toured the Home of Dr Pepper museum in the factory that was built in 1885.

We walked down to the riverfront where there was a life size exhibit of bronze cowboys on horses and long horn cattle. Then had a good lunch at a quaint restaurant, The Olive Branch.

Our last stop was a visit to Harp Design store. Small but nice.
