The WIFI is still not good so pics will have to wait
Our first day’s drive with the new Cardinal went well to Nashville
KOA North which was a little challenging because the roads are narrow as are
the sites. Turning into the site with pulling forward and back a couple of
times. We visited with our neighbors and one couple was married the same year
as us and just like us celebrate 52 years with the same person. I did ask the
neighbor on each side to move their trucks to give us more room to exit.
Last night we were at Tom Sawyer RV Park in Arkansas with
our rear and side windows facing the Mississippi River. It was a nice quiet campground
and we watched barges going up and down the river. This morning there was a
nice sunrise over the river.
Today we traveled to Texarkana, TX, 92 degrees here at 5:00.
The challenge today was the lack of rest areas. We like to stop every couple of
hours to take a break and walk. The first rest area was full of trucks so we
moved on the next two were closed so we stopped at the end of an entrance ramp
for a need now break.
